CIRCUIT TRAINING (Tuesdays at 7am):
Join us at Navy Pier on Tuesday mornings this spring for free, high-intensity body conditioning sessions. Led by top instructors, these hour-long, outdoor circuit training sessions will combine endurance training and resistance training using the natural landscape of Polk Bros Park. Whether you’re a serious athlete or are simply looking to tone up in time for beach season, you won’t want to miss this free opportunity to break a sweat on the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline.
WHERE TO MEET: Please meet us inside the Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion, near the entrance to Giordano’s.
CARDIO YOGA (Thursdays at 7am):
This free Cardio Yoga class is designed to infuse fundamental yoga postures with low impact cardio and sculpting exercises. Throughout class, modifications and adjustments are provided to help with posture and to ensure safety. Cardio yoga is a perfect complement your exercise regimen.
WHAT TO BRING: Yoga mat, yoga block, and set of three or five-pound weights (optional).
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: JULIA PERKINS
Julia Perkins has been practicing cardio yoga for eight years. Julia started her practice to maintain her muscle strength, flexibility, and balance, while dealing with the limitations caused by osteoarthritis.
