The Chicago White Sox have decided that Sunday, August 19th will officially be Pediatric Congenital Heart Association of Illinois Day at Guaranteed Rate Field. A portion of every ticket sold through this site will be donated to The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association of Illinois. PCHA-IL is a 100% Volunteer run non-profit organization!
The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association of Illinois' mission is to «Conquer Congenital Heart Disease.» We are accomplishing this through collaboration with patients, parents, providers, and partner organizations to improve quality and outcomes through CHD (Congenital Heart Defect) education, support, research and awareness.
The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association creates and delivers «Conquering CHD Kits» (Care Bags) to infants, children, teens and adults facing open heart surgery for Congenital Heart Defects to the following Chicago and Chicagoland hospitals; Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge,The University of Chicago Medical Center, Comer's Children's Hospital & Rush University Medical Center.
