:: BILL GRADY ::
With a voice that feeds the soul, songs that speak to the heart, and guitar playing that will make you move, Bill Grady is not to be ignored. After discovering the lost art of slide guitar while attending Berklee College of Music, he has broken down the boundaries of what slide music can be by combining it with influences from the blues, folk, rock, classical, jazz, and jam band worlds. The result of this experiment is his debut album, «Nothing Runs Free,» an Americana opera featuring some of the best musicians in the country. With a killer band behind him and tunes that will tear the house down, this show cannot be missed.
:: THE LEADFOOT BAND ::
Founding themselves on bluegrass roots over a decade ago in the concrete jungle and bluegrass mecca of the southside of Chicago, The Leadfoot Band have branched out in all directions from there. Incorporating their love of bluegrass with their early urban influences of rock, funk and everything in between, the evolution of the band is hard to place. Fans have said Leadfoot is just hard driving bluegrass, some say they are rock infused jamgrass, or even a bastard child of Bill Monroe meets Metallica. The online music site JamGrass.net
even says The Leadfoot Band is «A mix between Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros and Greensky Bluegrass.»
